The results of the annual contest "The Best Inventor and Innovator of the Smolensk region"
The regional Administration hosted a meeting of the contest committee to choose the winners of the annual contest "The Best Inventor and Innovator of the Smolensk region".
In accordance with the rules of the contest, there were two categories: "The Best Industrial Organization in the Smolensk region for the technical creativity development" and "The Best Invention, the Best Useful Model, the Best Industrial Design, the Best Innovative Proposal".
The works created in the last 5 years (2008-2012) and confirmed by the industrial patents could be submitted for the contest.
The contest in the category "The Best Industrial Organization in the Smolensk region for the technical creativity development", according to the rules, was declared invalid as there was only one bid from industrial organizations to participate in the nomination.
At the same time, there were 30 works confirmed by the patents submitted to participate in the contest in the nomination "The Best Invention, the Best Useful Model, the Best Industrial Design, the Best Innovative Proposal". Each of them was assessed by the members of the expert group. The assessment was based on indicators of novelty and relevance of the invention for the industrial sector.
