The Sport Games among the municipalities finished in Smolensk

As part of the celebrations dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Smolensk, the regional center hosted the finals of the ХХXIV Games among the municipalities of the region.

On the playing fields of Smolensk there were competitions in volleyball, indoor soccer, track and field. The parade of the games participants, sports shows and awards ceremony, at which the winners received cups, medals and prizes, were held at the CSKA stadium.

According to the results of the Games Smolensk got the first prize among the cities, Roslavl and Yartsevo followed it in the competition chart. The best among the districts of the first group was Yelninsky district, the second and third prizes were given to Smolensk and Pochinkovsky districts respectively. Holm-Zhirkovsky, Hislavichsky and Demidovsky districts shared prizes in the second group.
