The meeting of the Regional Anti-Corruption Council

The Administration of the region hosted the meeting of the anti-corruption Council with Deputy Governor-Head of the Administrative office of the Administration Lev Platonov presiding.

Participants of the meeting analyzed the activities of the executive authorities and local self-government of Smolensk region on allocating land for housing and their intended use in 2012.

The second item on the agenda was the discussion of observing the legislation governing procurement of products and services for state and municipal needs of the region by the authorities.

Following the meeting, the investigating authorities and the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out a series of checks. It was also decided to strengthen the control over the activities of institutions that are subordinate to the main managers of the regional budget, when placing orders for products and services.
