The opening of the specialized developing site in "Vishenki"

The regional institution "Rehabilitation Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities "Vishenki" hosted the opening ceremony of the specialized developing site. It is traffic site with all the necessary attributes for games and activities: traffic lights, road marking, road signs and vehicles for children – carts, velomobiles and bikes.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Social Development Department of Smolensk region Yuliya Novikova, the president of the "Kia Motors Rus" company Kim Sung Hwan, the Councilor of the Fund for support of children in difficult life situations, the manager of the project "To move without limits!" Irina Bondarenko.

In her opening speech, Head of the Social Development Department of Smolensk region Yuliya Novikova said: "Today we are having a wonderful holiday. It is the opening of a specialized development site. This is possible thanks to our social partners: the Fund for support of children in difficult life situations and "Kia Motors Rus" company. It is very important for us because the site not only promotes socialization of our children (and we have very special children here), but also shows that this collaboration of government authorities and private partnership is very constructive, very beneficial for us and what is most important for our children. I’d like to thank our social partners. And I hope that for you, dear children, the time spent at this site will bring real results. I hope that we can learn and in the future will be able to get driving license and that safety on our roads will become much, much better than it is now".

After the opening ceremony of the traffic site for the children of "Vishenki" there was an open lesson on safe driving "Our friends Traffic Lights". Then the children talked to the representatives of the propaganda team of young traffic wardens and took part in the musical and cognitive game "Road Safety".
