In all the districts of the region open classes, lectures and seminars on legal education of preschool and school children, as well as thematic personal consultations of the Smolensk people were held on November, 20. Special attention was paid to the events held for the social groups with low level of social security: orphans, children in difficult life situations, and children with disabilities.

On the Day of legal aid to children the informing events were held in the Smolensk special (correctional) secondary school of type I and II, where deaf and poorly hearing preschool children (15 people) and school children (55 people) study. Also, the school provides distance learning for 180 children with disabilities. During the Day of legal aid the school children learned about their basic rights and obligations through a game. Specially invited experts helped the children to expand their legal knowledge by telling them about the sanctions for various offenses.

The information and prevention event was held on November, 20 for the members of the Smolensk social rehabilitation center for youth "Phoenix". Police services and units organized for them the "Police School" aimed at legal education of the children and crime prevention among adolescents.

The children were delighted to watch the performance of the group of dog handlers with the Belgian sheepdogs. After the master class and demonstration of the dog service the children had a unique opportunity to ask the experts some questions. Later the members of the Center took part in the entertainment program "Traffic Rules" (games, quizzes, tests), watched the film "The safety area", and attended the master class for the fingerprint examination.
