The regional authorities together with the public discussed the implementation of the orders of the President of Russia

Last May, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the orders determining the direction of the state development. These policy documents affected the economic, social and demographic policy, the issues of healthcare, education and science, international relations, government improvement, and providing housing for the Russians. The implementation of the orders, which the quality of life and level of confidence in the government depend on, were the topics for panel discussion in Smolensk.

The meeting, organized by the regional office of the All-Russia People’s Front, was attended by the representatives of the Public Chamber of the region, non-governmental organizations, Representatives of the President.

The representatives of the regional authorities, who reported on the implementation of the orders in the spheres supervised by them, were active participants of the discussion.

Particular attention was paid to the problems that the region faces while implementing the policy documents. The issues related to the economic and social policy of the state caused a lot of discussion: the meeting considered the opportunities of creating in the region highly productive jobs, supporting small and medium-size companies, agricultural enterprises.

The issue of pay-rise for culture and education professional was also discussed. The problems and their solutions considered during the panel discussion will be presented to President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin at the All-Russia People's Front Forum, to be held December 4-6.
