The All-Russian Olympic Day in Smolensk region

Last Saturday, the municipalities of Smolensk region held sports events to mark the All-Russian Olympic Day. On the same day, June 28, the sports camps of the region also held festivals for children and teens.

The organizers of the recreational activities were the Olympic Committee of Russia, Smolensk region Administration and General Administration of Sport of the region.

Within the framework of the Olympic Day, the Sports and Recreational Complex "Smena" hosted the 7th Festival for the employees of Smolensk region executive authorities. The competitions were held in six sports: mini football, beach volleyball, chess, shooting, throwing weights, darts. 420 employees from 26 regional executive authorities took an active part in the festival.

The winners of the festival were awarded cups and medals, memorable certificates and awards from the regional branch of the Russian Olympic Committee.
