125 The IDPs from the south-east of Ukraine arrived in Smolensk region

Today, on July 5, at 23:35 three buses with the IDPs (internally displaced persons) from Ukraine arrived in Smolensk region. There are totally 125 people, there are 47 young people underage among them.

Assistance to the IDPs is coordinated by the special working group set up by order of Governor Alexey Ostrovskiy.

This afternoon, at the "Domodedovo" airport the representatives of the Administration of Smolensk region met the plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with the refugees, which took off from Simferopol, where there was a temporary accommodation camp for the Ukrainian citizens from Donetsk, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk and Lugansk.

The internally displaced people were taken to the social welfare institutions in the Gagarin (93 people) and Safonovo (32 people) districts that now have become points of temporary accommodation. There the refugees can get food, clothing and medical care.

We remind you that in all the districts of Smolensk region the reception centers of humanitarian assistance to the internally displaced persons from the south-east of Ukraine are open from July, 7. All Smolensk residents who can’t stay indifferent can provide possible support.
